Grateful if someone is able to assist with further information ie marriage/death for Alan McAlister.
He was born on 14 April 1897 in Whakatane, New Zealand to John McAlister and Eliza Ann Simpkins.  A birth registration for an Alan McAlister was made in NZ in 1984/109829.
He sailed from NZ to the US in 1915.
In c 1918 he joined the US Flying Corps in Dallas Texas.
He was Naturalised in the US on 2 July 1918 Certificate No 928477.
On Ancestry (unable to access due to subscription) there is a death in 1995 in Harrison, Texas - is this his death?

There is a death listed 18/5/1995 Harrison Texas. Not the birth date you quoted.

There was a passport Application in 1919 but also one 6 October 1921 -  Alan McAlister 4 April 1897
Thakatane, New Zealand. Father was John McAlister born Scotland now residing New Zealand.
Alan resided 6 years uninterruptedly in San Francisco.  Permanent residence is Chicago - clerk at the Drake Hotel. I intend to leave the USA and return within one year. Leaving from San Francisco for New Zealand on the S S Taihiti - 28 Octiober 1921.
