James Street

I hope someone might be able to help here.

My ancestor James Street was married to Mary Compton in July 1763 at Rudgwick. I know that Mary was christened in Rudgwick in about 1741 however I have no idea when or where James was christened. So far I have been unable to locate any sign of him or any other "Street" references in Rugwick and I am starting to think he may have been christened elsewhere.

Can anyone help locate a christening for James?

Any ideas or suggestions would be appreciated.
