Okay, I'll check out Philadelphia Jewish Exponent. There's a portrait of Catherine Cohen? Wow, I've got to find it. Thanks very much.

...intending to "leave these lands"... That's interesting. I wonder where the hell he went? I know his nephew, José Cohen's son, Florencio Cohen was in the US via Ellis Island in the 1920s.

Looking at the dates of the newspaper articles re selling up and regsitereing the land, Fernando seems to have planned to sell up,before the land was regsieterd. Did he own the land outright, or was it shared between him amd the siblings + / - others named in the advert regarding planned registration?

There seems to have been a lot of travelling around!
