The Oregonian Newspaper 2009 Obituary SOLVED
« on: Wednesday 03 June 20 17:02 BST (UK) »
I'm trying to find out how I can access an obituary that was printed in The Oregonian newspaper on Jan 20th 2009. I found this link:

https://www.oregonlive.com/editors/2013/12/how_to_access_the_oregonians_a.html

It explains how to access older copies and that the archive from 1987 is available via OregonLive.com but I've tried searching on there every which way to no avail.

Any help locating the obits section of this edition of the newspaper gratefully received! Thanks.

They say it is accessible through Newsbank. I have access through my public library. Whose obituary do you want? there are 28 in this edition of the paper.

Thanks oldohioathome - I thought that link said the Newsbank archive only went up to 1987 so that's good news.  Details of obit I'm looking for attached.  Thanks for the help!

I'm going to post this with a pdf of the file attached. A lot of those mentioned in the obit are probably still alive, and that violates rootschat's policy. I copied and pasted the last post before thinking, and will go back and edit out the living.
If the .pdf gets removed, and I don't think it will, since it isn't in the post itself, then PM me with your email address and I will send you the info.
