Muddle with Ruddle!

Looking for a marriage for Dorothy Jean Forder b 5th Jan1928 St Asaph Monmouthshire
 Parents Annie D Gilchrist 1900-1943 and Frederick D Forder 1893-?
1939 Census shows Dorothy with her parents in St Asaph   Her surname has been over-written with the name Ruddle 
Records show a Dorothy Jean Ruddle died 8 Dec 2000 and cremated on the 19 of the same month at Newcastle crematorium  Her place of death is listed as 3, Bevan Place, Madeley  However, there is also a death for Dorothy Jean Ruddle 12 August 2000 in Staffs!
As yet, I have been unable to find a record of FORDER/RUDDLE marriage which I think will help clarify things a bit - I hope
There is a son born in St Asaph in 1955 and another in 1957 (I've withheld Christian names) in Stamford Lincolnshire  They both have mmn as Forder, although I don't have any birth certificates to prove that their mother is Dorothy Jean.
 I have a record of a trip abroad in 1958 which shows Dorothy and sons travelling to Cyprus.  Her birth date ties in with the 1939 Census  The address in England given as 17, Fernie Square Cottesmore, Oakham, Rutland
 Any help would be appreciated

Think the 12th August date could be misreading of death date.
Death was 8/12, 12th Aug is 12/8
Wonder if her husband was in the RAF as they lived at Cottesmore.
