It makes me laugh because a few years ago, a friend of mine was looking for her Gallagher family and had a similar experience. I remember her reaction which could not be repeated here  ;)

Possibles.....

1861 (surname transcribed as KOLEKER on Ancestry, looks to me like KELEKER or KELEKEN)
Piece: 3382; Folio: 4; Page: 4)

Thomas and wife Rose born Ireland, children John and Mary born Leeds,  William born Ireland, Thomas and Patrick born Leeds.

Debra  :)

There is no Patrick in 1861
FreeBMD shows Thomas Kalater b March quarter 1861
GRO shows Thomas Kalaher mmn Maron

Just looking at the 1861 census on Findmypast they have the name as Kalaker. Interestingly the house address is for Brick Street, Leeds. This is within a few streets of where I have found the rest of this family in later years so is looking like a strong possibility.

So this means I have some variation on names to look for Thomas from Co Clare.

The Callaghan /Mearon marriage looks a possibility and would give you a father’s name.
