downloadable family tree chart
« on: Monday 08 June 20 14:58 BST (UK) »
I`m helping a friend with drawing up a paper family tree, we want to transfer the details to a poster type one as a gift. So far I`m not getting very far  ::)
There are 8 generations. I have tried doing one myself  but am useless. It`s like a maze.
Can anyone recommend something like a form I  can download  and fill in  on my PC then print ,   or  if not one I can print and fill in by hand.
Would there be a problem with A4 size paper.
 Thanks,

Thanks very much, now I just have to work out how to fill them in. Do you  work either side from the middle on the multi coloured one, I really have no idea.  ::)

Yes the Blue/mauve tone one is the paternal side, the pink/yellow tone side is the maternal line. the white half circle you would start with the person you are starting with, their father on blue side, their mother on pink side, then their parents, then their grandparents etc

Great,  that I can understand,  I think I'll  use that as a starter,  with pencil of course. 🙂
Then when we've got it right can copy it onto the final one. Seen a few nice A1 size on Ebay.
Thanks again.
