 I am looking for information on Lily Cruickshank born 5th Jan 1888 Kemnay Aberdeenshire.
 Daughter of George Cruickshank (Stone Dresser) mother Mary Cruickshank (was Christie)
 I have a group photo dated 1907 in which she is present, photo done by George who was a
 photographer. I have looked on SP with no success but my computer is ancient & my eyesight the sharpest! Any assistance appreciated. David

Can't view the details but there is a hint to a Lily who went to Canada and married a John Milloy.

That lady was born 5 Jan 1889 and died 13 Aug 1941.  Buried Greenwood Cemetery Ontario.

As the birthday is correct she could be your girl.

Thank you Milepede! Its a pontential candidate. I have a copy of the birth entry from S.P definitely 1888 5th Jan. I can find some records but with the name Lily Jane but her birth record was just 'Lily.

There is a tree on Ancestry showing husband as John MacClean Mastean Malloy.  Marriage was 17.10.1912 York, Ontario.  No children shown

Thank you for the Ancestry link...it takes me to a subscription page! I do have a tree on that website but a subscription, found it expensive. Will see if I can find the tree without paying a subscription.

I have looked at the passenger lists between 1908 + 5 years but cannot see a record that would match her leaving on a ship from UK. Its all interesting stuff! No joy with ancestry without paying a subscription..might end up doing that when me pension comes. Thank You. david

 I have found on FamilySearch in a Canadian Census 1911 a Lilian Cruickshank as lodger in Toronto Ontario Birthplace Scotland birth date 1888! Could this be our lady?  Be good to find when she went to Canada Thanks for all your help ! David

I was just going to suggest the 1911 census - possible for him, could not see her.  Will look again - as date of entry could be recorded.
