On 1901 census Andrew and Sarah Moloy with children John, Andrew, Thomas and James.

John's date of birth as 4th October 1882 on image (from Ancestry).

Andrew arrived in 1887, and Sarah and children in 1890 on that census.

Did try and find census 1881, 1891 & 1911 but no joy.
Not sure John went to Canada, same year as Lily..?
Did they know each other before? Although Rothesay a long way from Aberdeen...or met on the ship?
Thanks for your help? David

John went to Canada as a child.

John Milloy is in several trees on Ancestry.
Some of them having a marriage for him in Wentworth in 1905 to Ethel Newman, his parents being Andrew Milloy and Sarah McLean, and his birth in Glasgow.
There appears to be a child  Randilla Isabel May Malloy, 1905 (19th November on birth information). There is offered a document in 1911 for Mother and daughter crossing the border for work, with her brother as named nearest friend/relative. She claims to have been in USA previously from 1909 to July 1911.

On Randilla Ethel Milloy's Californian naturalisation petition (in the 1940's) she claims that she was born on April 4th, 1889, married on 6th June 1905 (so just 16) and that her husband, John, was born in Rosseau Bay, Scotland on October 15th, 1880.

Rosseau Bay is typed, so their interpretation as to spelling.

Chempat you are a star! Many Thanks for your time & patience. Investigating my family tree is my main hobby. Difficult at times here at Gozo (Malta) as the internet service is not the best! Seems to get worse when the temps rise (30degs this morning) my other hobby is the ECW..even more difficult 1200 miles away!
I would also take this opportunity to thank all the other guys & gals who help when asked for assistance

I have gone thru the documents I and on the marriage certificate the name is John Mcclean Malloy not Milloy. The date of marriage was 17th October 1912 Toronto. Parents names George Cruickshank
& Mary Christie and Andrew Malloy & Sarah McClean.
Johns birth place Rothesay, his age 28, making the date 1884.
I think there might be confusion over 'Milloy' and 'Malloy' as the Canadians called them, probably the accent. Thank You David
