Danish records
« on: Tuesday 09 June 20 18:59 BST (UK) »
Hi,
Does anyone have any experience with Danish records. I have used some baptism and  census records but I am wondering if there are any other records that may be useful and are accessible. One of my ancestors was born in Copehahen and then turns up on the uk census in 1881. He worked in the exports industry and as a ship's broker so I feel there is a seaman connection somewhere. Does anyone have any ideas.

I have a few marriage, baptism and death records. Its Ferdinad Nuel Buch who is my person of interest. I cannot find any record of him arriving in the uk. I'd just like to know his back ground before him moving to the uk. I know her married and had children and died in Hulk asylum. I've tracked him around England and scotland untio his death but wondered about why he came to england, how and when

I think as he worked in the ship business he most probably hitched a ride on some ship.
