Regiment for Oliver Spanswick
« on: Wednesday 10 June 20 11:55 BST (UK) »
Hello,

Oliver was from Wiltshire, and he was in Iraq in 1944. Beyond that, I don’t know very much about him. Could anyone identify who he was with? Apologies for the poor quality of photo.

I’d appreciate any help!

Cap badge is very blurred but resembles the Green Howards

There may well be other views, my optician is closed!

It is with great difficulty I share with you that in the early hours of 07 August 2021, Maximilian passed away unexpectedly but peacefully.

With deep sadness,

He was a sergeant, see chevrons on sleeve.
