Looks old doesn't it particularly the small paned window, not the type you would find
from houses built mid-late 1800's which you might expect to find in Bolton.

Do you know whereabouts in Bolton the family lived.. Bolton is quite an industrial city, but it has lovely country around it. If we had an idea of where they lived it may  give a clue to the house in the photo.
Pat

Frederick James Blackwill born 1864 and Annie Rebecca Blackwill born 1862 in the electoral role for 1918-1934 were at Eggshill Rd, Yate, Bristol. Frederick d1943

Eli Mayoh b1870, Jane b1870 in 1911 were at Cameron St, Astley Bridge Bolton occupation cloth Dyer, so presumably that was an area of cotton mills!

Yate looks very rural.
There appears to be just a chemical works.
The houses in Cameron St. are still there.
The typical Victorian Terraces.

Thanks Jim1 Eli Mayoh was in McKenzie St in 1939 which appears to run parallel to Cameron St. With this info, I think itís safe to presume my great grandparents are Blackwills from Chipping Sodbury. Many thanks everyone
