Anna Francisca Whalley

Hello,

I was wondering if someone could look up the baptism of 'Anna Francisca Whalley'? She was born in Bristol about 1845, and I think it is in a record collection called 'Bristol, England, Non-Conformist Baptism, Marriage and Burial Registers, 1644-1981'. I just don't have a sub to look at it at the moment. She went on to move to Liverpool and marry Owen Curran/Cunnan, I just couldn't find her possible birth before now.

Thank you! What does it mean 'about 1842' but also '15 March 1853'? Also how come there is no maiden name for the mother?

Baptisms dont show Mothers maiden names usually.
As Rosie said she was born c 1842, bapt at age 11 on the 15th March 1853.

Thank you! Isn't that uncommon for those days for a child to be baptised at that age? I thought all babies were then. How can I find out more about the mother and father?

Its not uncommon depending on Religious affiliation.
But it appears Ann was born before her Parents Marriage;

Not seeing any appropriate births for any of them so possibly born overseas.

From 1871 Census they are born all over the place, London/Wales/Glous

Sam only appears as Henry in 1871 born c 1831 London, Green Grocer/Fish Curer

Fanny appears as Fanny/Francis/Francis/Ann F to confuse things more, at least she knows she is born c 1824/5 Wales
