Another triumph for "My Heritage"
« on: Sunday 14 June 20 19:06 BST (UK) »
I have plenty of proof that Edward Russell Oldham was born in Padstow, Cornwall in 1881, his parents being John Dunn Oldham and Elizabeth Anne nee Gregor.

"My Heritage" states that Edward's father's middle name began with an E and his mother's middle name was Jane.  Even better is that "My Heritage" states with total confidence that Edward was born in Kentucky, where he was still living in 1901.

Obviously an expert researcher has been at work!
Oldham (Cornwall), Lovering (Cornwall & Cardiff), Kestle, Post, Brider, Woodhams (Kent & Surrey), Willmott (Exeter & Southwark) Rose (Lincolnshire)

Yes, My Heritage does come up with some creative info...

I had a message from them a while back suggesting that I purchased a DNA testing kit for my Grandmother Margaret Rees. As she lived from 1866 - 1934, - that might be a tad problematic!
