South Australia Obituaries
« on: Monday 15 June 20 01:07 BST (UK) »
How can I find the obituaries of two people who died in South Australia?

Gwendoline Harden died on 5 Oct 1955 and is buried in North Brighton Cemetery, Brighton, Holdfast Bay City with husband William Leslie Harden who died on 9 Jan 1970.

I see none for Gwendoline, but there are 3 for William Leslie, listed on: https://www.genealogysa.org.au/index.php?option=com_gsa&view=gsa&layout=essearch&collection_id=newspaper-death&page_no=1&Surname=Harden&GivenName=William&year_from=&accuracy=

Contact the Brighton library and they may assist.

SA genealogy’s index is for death notices in the Adelaide Advertiser. I suggest you contact the State Library Of SA.
Use the Ask a Librarian service giving them all the information you have posted here.

The gravemarker shows only the given names of the children, and an obituary may show Maxine's surname.

Dear cupoflife

If nobody has told you that you are a truly wonderful person, let me do so!

You are a truly wonderful person.

You found confirmation I was seeking that Ida Maxine Harden married William Peter Shrubsall.

God bless you!
