Apropos of just that it is Igor Stravinski’s  namesake’s  Birthday today.
Heard it on Classic FM this morning.
I mean ,not OUR Igor, but the composer. It is his birthday today.
However, they are related.
Just thought I’d mention it.
Viktoria.

Happy birthday to Igor and his namesake....
What a wonderful composer to be related to..
I like his music a lot...

Perhaps I should choose one of his pieces as my choice for our virtual party but the question is which one....
More thinking to do

Tazzie, is this in UK?  Why did Year 10 leave after 3 hours?

Annette, I started doing the Rootschat Challenge a couple of years ago having seen it "advertised" in much the same way as this post.  I have just tried to look at the Lightsiders Quiz, but I don't think I can cope with logging in and out of things continually, which may be why so few people take part perhaps?

I shall try to work out how to do it on the tablet. Can't even see the writing on my phone!!

mowsehowse - I never log out of the quizzes so don't have to login/out every day.

Don't walk behind me, I may not lead.   Don't walk in front of me, I may not follow.   Just walk beside me and be my friend.

Music suggestions for the Garden party, Wine,   Women and Song,Strauss.
                                                                    Very lively.
                                                            Vivaldi’s Guitar Concerto in D.
                                                                    Gentle and slow.
                                                             Something from Les Miserables.

 Food, Jacob’s feast.
Dress, smart but not daft Ascot.

However I am not in charge, just my suggestion so nothing is written on my stone!
We could set a date though and a rough time ,then do as we please . Eat
what we want ,play whatever music we like and have a good time.
Just to make it a bit special we could get a bit dressed up, I won’t bother getting the tiara out of the pawn shop, well I am not going out so——.
Anyone  else please put your suggestions in, it is your party ,a do as you please extravaganza .
Don’t forget to post the daft things you have done .
Cheerio. Viktoria.
