ADDED: AN Edith Annie Wright died 1 Mar 1920 in Keighley probate to Elsie Muriel Wright spinster. These are probably spinster sister as pointed out by medpat.

I would guess we have an early marriage and a child is born soon after. Marriage falls apart for whatever reason, child adopted and Daniel finds a new love. Unable to marry but they stay together and marry when they can much later in life.
