Jane Airey who are her family.

Jane Airey was born 1817 (?) Hatton Lancashire to Jane Airey a  single women. Father unknown. Baptised 29/6/1817 Warton  Lanc. Record on Ancestry as are a number  of Airey trees but cant make any links.

Jane the daughter marries 25/12/1837 to Robert Danson shown on some records as Dawson. I can trace her and her husbands family forward and that is not the issue. Name left blank for father .

Would like to learn more about her and her  mother Jane . Who are  her wider Airey family?  As I say a number of trees on line but struggling to find possible matches.
Had hoped this was  is  a clue . On her marriage cert . Witnesses John Airey and Mary Thompson. Who is he --uncle,brother ( Dont think so see below) maybe  cousin.

 John  marries 12/11/1840 Warton st Oswald . He was born 1817-19 so similar age to Jane . He and his wife  Mary on 1851,1861 census bur in Shere Surrey .From his marriage cert we know that
his father is  Joseph 1796-1866.  Lancashire and married to Alice Holiday and others. number of trees on line. Have crawled over them but  have failed to locate my  2 Jane Airey ( name sometimes spelt Ayrey) . Very much hoping someone can help with this.

Hello Rosie and thank you. Yes I had Jane born 1806 in the frame and it's one of the trees I have been exploring. But that would mean Jane the mother would have been only11/ 12when Jane b 1817 . So I had discount ed it. You can see why I am stuck.

I would not totally discount it the age of consent was 12.

 I hadn't appreciated that . So if Jane Airey Snr died at 22 her daughter Jane will have been brought up by someone else. As  census recording dont  start till 1841 we shall never know. But at least it appears from her marriage cert that there was  still a family link as John Ariey appears to be a cousin.
