He’s Francis Williams Ruddle on his birth registration, mother’s maiden name Jones.

Likely parents: William Ruddle & Catherine Jones marr Mar qtr 1866 Llanrwst.

Francis is with a Sarah Thomas in 1881 as “nephew”. Do you know what happened to his parents?

If it's of any help, the marriage took place on Feb 1st 1866 at Pentrefoelas.
Both were of full age.
William was an architect and his father is recorded as Francis Ruddle, a builder.
Catherine's father was Owen Jones, an Innkeeper.

Could this be William Ruddle from the 18681866 marriage in 1881 with father Francis - Living in Peterbrough and all born there??  William wasn't with his father in 1871??
