Another Dalrymple place name. I've been staring at the map but I can't work out where this is..

I believe it's Hoill, prob. a variant spelling of Hole. Is there maybe a farm of that name in Dalrymple parish?

I Googled Dalrymple parish, and apparently there is a village called Hollybush. Not quite the same as Hoill/Hole, but names change through time, and sometimes in Victorian times if the old name was thought to be a bit vulgar they would change it. The district of Davidson's Mains in Edinburgh used to be the village of Muttonhole!
