Robert Dunbar & Isabel Naughtie
« on: Thursday 18 June 20 15:38 BST (UK) »
Hello. Does anybody have access to transcriptions of the gravestones in New Spynie churchyard?

I am particularly interested in stone  no 131a. Robert Dunbar died 1811, William Dunbar (interred in Dyke Churchyard), Janet Dunbar (nee Forsyth) died 1757, George Dunbar died 1794 and Isabel Dunbar (nee Naughtie).

Details of the wording on that stone would be much appreciated.

Many thanks.

Assuming that you got this information from LIBINDX http://libindx.moray.gov.uk/mainmenu.asp, have you clicked on the magnifying glass icon against each of the names? This takes you to more details, including the relationships of the people involved to one another.
Never trust anything you find online (especially submitted trees and transcriptions on Ancestry, MyHeritage, FindMyPast and other commercial web sites) unless it's an image of an original document - and even then be wary because errors can and do occur.

I'd actually seen the grave no on the Moray Burial Ground Research site.

I think the MBGRG uses the same numbering system as LIBINDX.

Looks like it, I have contacted them to ask if I can obtain a photo of the stone but haven't had a reply as yet.
