No problem Suz.....I did wonder if John was the son of one of Frank Jay's sisters, he had two, born in 1891 and 1896 respectively.....I can't find a marriage for either yet, IF Frank and Florence brought him up that would explain his mother's maiden name being given as Jay, all speculation of course, it may just have been a simple mistake... perhaps we will never know.......there are a couple of marriages for a John Jay, after 1976, after Vera had died, but again no way of knowing if it's him.....
