The format of the Beeps determine the likely fault

https://www.dell.com/support/article/en-uk/sln143065/dell-optiplex-and-vostro-beep-codes-and-error-messages?lang=en

Check out the article and come back with what the beeps represent

ie

Beep ....... Beep .......Beep Beep then repeating will represent one fault and

Beep ....... Beep Beep ......Beep

another

I have an HP laptop with Windows 10 and use Firefox, Thunderbird and Word.  Every time I save or delete something either an email, or a Word document, my machine has started tweeting like a bird.  I've no idea why.  Sometimes it does it when I log on.  It must be something to do with Microsoft.

Just googled for an answer and this is what I found:

"Turns out it was not a hardware problem. But in the settings of the keyboard.

Windows 10 has a different sound effect for disconnecting a device. I just heard it while unplugging my camera. So I did some research, and this guide solved my problem!

Long story short- The keyboard disconnects itself to save power.

You can disable this setting by going to control panel->hardware and sound->devices and printers->RIGHT CLICK->hardware->properties->USB input device (or the name of the keyboard)->change settings->power management->uncheck "allow computer to turn off this device to save power."

Oh well, that didn't solve my problem.  I'll just have to see what happens.
