Hi Sinnan...No need for Sorry..if i'm wrong, i'm wrong, so thank you for pointing out my mistake...i'm not proud.....I see my error now. Thank you for steering me along the way....

Do you think then That Ncholas her husband who died in 1902 would not be registered either...
Which leaves them to the wind og fate...sad really. But thank you for pointing out where i went wrong.

Tony Mc.. In Liverpool.

Not sure how much you have on the family already so I was just trying my luck.
RootsIreland appears to have some records for the Weldridge name in its Dublin North centre.

Allowing for variations in spelling of the surname and given the relative rarity of the name I was looking at the following family.
On his marriage Nicholas father is Patrick and alive, could this be Patrick’s death 1894 with informant daughter Bridget
https://civilrecords.irishgenealogy.ie/churchrecords/images/deaths_returns/deaths_1894/05958/4693520.pdf
There is a Bridget born to a Patrick and Jane Ward in 1879
https://civilrecords.irishgenealogy.ie/churchrecords/images/birth_returns/births_1879/02932/2074287.pdf
Looks like Bridget married Christy Fottrell

and their daughter is with Jane in 1911

Julia 1875

Patrick 1873

Julia 1870

Michael 1867

Possibly the mother Jane died 1915
https://civilrecords.irishgenealogy.ie/churchrecords/images/deaths_returns/deaths_1915/05266/4461505.pdf
but no Nicholas found so possible all a different family.

Moving on

Marriage of Nicholas Weldridge and Bridget Brien 1890
https://civilrecords.irishgenealogy.ie/churchrecords/images/marriage_returns/marriages_1890/10692/5896949.pdf
Children
Michael 1891 (this looks like it says Michael for the father but the informant is the same as Christopher and mother address etc is correct.
https://civilrecords.irishgenealogy.ie/churchrecords/images/birth_returns/births_1891/02400/1895117.pdf

Christopher 1892
https://civilrecords.irishgenealogy.ie/churchrecords/images/birth_returns/births_1892/02327/1871045.pdf
There is a death of a Patrick which looks like part of the family 11 days old in Nov 1892, I don’t see a birth, not sure if it could be Christopher, death not registered until the following year.

Terence 1894

Hi again Sinnan....I know partrick Weldridge and jane Ward...were Nicholas's parents...His name was supposed to be Michael...but Bridy had a change of mind going to the church....I'll take out of this what helps me...it's so much to study...It's marvellous though...it's great...

Thanks for all this. I'll let you no more on it.

Hi Maggsie, this is how i was told it.
Bridget and Nicholas lived in Baldoyle....He is on the 1901 censuc along with patrick Terence and Jane Ann, my mother...Terence had a twin who died abot two days after [not sure] She was teresa.
When Nicholas died they were made to vacate the agricultural cottage...Were they ended up i don't know...Bridget was off the scene, and i presume the boys and mam were with an aunt, but that's conjecture....except an older lady told me Mam would have a little railway tag put on her lapel and would be put on a local train to go to the Inchicore Road where she would be taken to see her mam.
At some point the three kids were picked up by the Church and taken to an orphanage?...Apparently the boys were to old to keep in and had to be released....Whoever told them to go back and get their sister [my mam Jane Ann]...when they went and knocked, then asked...They were told she was dead and buried......Mam vanished from the family...But his year someone..I don't know who sent me the 1911 census of a industrial building in Tipperary ran by the Augustinians...She's on it with 165 other girls of similar ages..Only the eldest 2 were classed as teachers...They were the only two who could read and write in the Irish....After that, at some point My mam begged the Mother superior to be let go...by then she was 16...She ended up in service in Dublin City Centre....Pity to thnk her mother and brothers were just a few mile away n Coolock...
It was while she was in service in Terenure, she met my dad..They married and left for Liverpool that same day..never to return..My dad was in Collins Barracks in the Free State Army...

many ears later i found the family...by then Patrick and Terence were dead but Terence's son..my cousin took us all around the old places....I think he may have died too...The old lady who had all the pics etc..had move to England somewhere...so i don't even know what Bridget look's like..There are other bits and pieces i've left out...but at least...along with all your help, i'm rebuilding the family...although some of my family have sadly gone...but they'd be thrilled with what you have all done for me/us.
Thank you too Maggsie.  I hope it's ok.

Can you give us a link to this 1901 Census, or is it missing, did someone get it for you from a library or similar?

It just doesn't all add up
The 1911 Census with Bridget is Patrick and Terence.
But the births have no Patrick only a death of a Patrick but there is a Christopher and Michael.
