CARR family in Offam Kent 1680s onwards
« on: Sunday 21 June 20 21:24 BST (UK) »
I am researching the CARR family of John CARR and Bridget LAMBE, they had a family of at least 8 children from 1685 to 1705 in Offham, Kent. I am specifically ,but not only interested in their son Henry bapt 30 Jan 1697 , and looking to see if he appears in any Kent record in the early /mid 1700's. His siblings are
Mary 1675 , John 1687, Thomas 1691, William 1693, Bridget 1699  Anne 1701 George 1703, Benjamin 1705.

Hi
There were two William's. The first was baptised 24th March 1693 and buried 20th May 1694
The second was baptised 13th October 1695. Benjamin died in 1705/6 and was buried on 11 Mar.
John Carr was buried in Offham on 22nd December 1705 and his widow Bridget on 7th March 1709/10.
There is a marriage of a John Carr to Katherine Herneden in Offham on 19 Feb 1650. Parents maybe but no baptisms for their children in Offham.

There is a marriage for a Henry Carr (widower) carpenter of West Malling and Mary Cook (widow) of W Malling 29th Nov 1728 [Clandestine marriage Fleet Prison].

This could also be the Henry Carr (bachelor) carpenter of Woolwich who married Rachel Soles (spinster) of Woolwich in the same place on 25th March 1722?
