Dear all
Thank you so much for your help and especially to Zetlander.  You will never know how much this means to me.

What with the current situation, I don't think I will visiting for a month or two and will take your advice and contact Richard Brice first.

Can I ask how you found her grave.

So many thanks again
Maureen 🤗

I googled various sites and came across the e-mail address of the Bereavement Services Manager for the Connah's Quay area.

I e-mailed him - gave him your sister's name and the date she died and he e-mailed back a few hours later.

Delighted you have found her.

N.B. Contact Richard Blake on 01352 703360 to arrange for someone to meet you at Bryn Road Cemetery before you go. (cemetery may be overgrown etc.)
If there isn't a headstone you may consider having one put on the grave ??

Let us know how you get on.

Hi Zetlander

I had tried so many different ways to find Marion and am so grateful to you for all your time and trouble taken in locating her.

I have a relative who lives in Chester and will ask if she can visit the grave so the family will know what to expect and we will arrange for a family visit and a headstone to be placed.

So many thanks again

As soon as I saw your query I had a hunch I could crack it - I spent very little time on it - just dropped lucky with the e-mail.

I'm from North Wales (not the Connah's Quay area) but no longer live there.  The important thing is to arrange for someone from the Bereavement Service to meet you at the cemetery -

  - and let us know how you get on.

Hi Mo-Liz has your relative located the grave? I live in Connah’s Quay and visit the cemetery frequently. Happy to help.
