Hi everyone,

Trying to identify photo's which belonged to a grand uncle, George England, my grandfather's brother.

I am wondering if this could have been their mother, Sarah - would the setting/clothes be fitting for her timeline?

many thanks

I'm no expert at dating, but am bumping this up the list so the experts will see it. I would say this photo was taken later than 1906. more like 1914, but see what others think.

I’m not an expert either, but I am thinking post WW1 heading into the 20s. Maybe.  :)

I would suggest 1920s.

Thank you for all input so far.

Bearing in mind that this photo was in a tin box belonging to George, along with other photos and personal papers, I feel fairly certain that it must be a close family member.  Another possibility is that it could be one of his two wives?  His first wife Harriet, died in 1916 in childbirth, aged 37.  George took another wife in 1934, Sarah, who was born in 1873.
