Suffolk parish registers
« on: Friday 26 June 20 13:58 BST (UK) »
Where is the best place to look? Birth is around 1807 in Stonham. I am not sure if that is Earl Stonham or Stonham Aspal or somewhere else.
To confuse things a little time ago he popped up on someone’s tree and they gave his parents and baptism date in Earl Stonham. That tree now no longer shows up so I cannot contact the owner. However I can see findmypast has an index for Earl Stonham but he doesn’t appear on it.
Any suggestions?

You could start by giving his details - name/birthyear etc  ;D

Findmypast is suggested by the FamilySearch Wiki and the Online Genealogical Index but for potentially greater detail you may want to invest in the transcripts from the Suffolk FHS, which has produced CDs covering various parts of the county. Earl Stonham, Stonham Aspal and Stonham Parva (Little Stonham) are among the parishes in Bosmere Deanery.
