Sounds about right, Rosie99 . My quest would be simpler if I could get  Doris' birth certificate, but proving impossible under present circumstances.

Doris married a Frank R Massey Sept.1931 West Derby, Lancs. and this is her death entry:

Doris Agnes T Massey - born 29/11/1904, died Dec.1998 Sedgemoor, Somerset.

This birth date ties in with the post from rosie99.

Many, many thanks, Comberton, you have filled in the last pieces in a complex family history. Can I assume the family were'him at both addresses?

I posted on your other thread re an address (possibly from) Liverpool schools admissions.

Find My Past has Liverpool Schools Admissions and an entry for Ella A Thomas b 1898 in 1910. There should be an address there.

There is also one for  Gwendoline A in 1909 but the year of birth shows 1901 so may not be yours  :-\
