Man in tanktop and tie - Brecon
« on: Saturday 27 June 20 19:52 BST (UK) »
Hello, please can you help me date this image?
It was in my aunts photos, and we assume he is a relative, so dating could help narrow it down.
The photo has no marks on the rear, and seems to be a copy. It is slightly shiny on the photo surface.
I am estimating his age as in his 40s, but would welcome your views.
Many thanks
Mar  :)

Hi...There really isn't much to go on except to say that my Father was wearing sleeveless pullovers in the 1950s.

The hair and the jumper do have a fifties look about them, but he could be ahead of or behind the times!

As Carol says they were called sleeveless pullovers in those days, tanktops arrived later in the 70s  :D

It is also too plain to be a tanktop.
