Mary Anne Freeman (1831) conundrum

I've posted in here before about my problem with a brick wall, everyone was very helpful, but I wasn't able to solve it. However, with some DNA matches I think I might have done, but I am unsure and want to check what people think.

I think my 3x great-grandmother might be Mary Anne Tiffin Freeman, baptised on 27 May 1831 in Tower Hamlets. Her parents are listed as John Tiffin Freeman and Mary Ann. First q: John Tiffin married Mary Ann Dubois in 1832 in Shoreditch. He is listed as a batchelor. I am confused about the discrepancy between these dates - could they have got their daughter baptised without being married?

Secondly, in Mary Ann's baptism John Tiffin's profession is listed as "gent", but in her marriage to William Turner in 1860 her father John is listed as a draper. This gives me a lot of concern as to if I am looking at the right person.

The only reason I am considering John Tiffin as my ancestor is I have a DNA match who lists Emma Ward Freeman, John's sister, as his ancestor. Furthermore, the centimorgans suggest a relation of 4th cousin 2x removed, which is exactly our relationship if followed through these lines. I know his research could be flawed, but I have looked at it and it seems sound.

Would be very grateful for any help or suggestions as to things I could be missing or do to confirm a link.

First child born before marriage - not unusual. They wouldn’t have had to prove marriage in order for her to be baptised.

Gent - commonly found on these entries even if it made the person sound a little further up the social scale than they were.

I don’t see anything alarming in these facts, and the DNA seems to be helpfully supporting your train of inquiry.

The only other baptism I can find for John & Mary Ann is Emily Emma Freeman was baptised Saint Dunstan, Stepney 9 Sep 1845, father described as Gentleman.
This might be the link to John’s sister Emma?

When Mary Ann’s younger brother was baptised 9 Nov 1817 Charles Frederick Dubois, his father James was noted as Broker.
