Ware/wright family

Hi all, my grandmother had a picture/sitting when she was 20, my uncle took her portrait to a photo shop he worked in at the time in the 80"s in the friary guildford surrey, it was given to my mother, but her brother "took it to be cleaned" the shop then went bust and we never saw the photo again! Is there anyway to track this down? I know this is more than a long shot... but there must be some way to find what happened to it... either through the administration etc, anyone in the know that can help please? I know it's a real long shot but here's hoping xx
