Thank you Ladies.  I think we are all finding it stressful in some way, because it isn't what we would choose, (mostly,) and losing what is called the "locus of control" is never pleasant.

I have found the decorating process a bit stressful, and it isn't over because the agent hasn't bothered getting in touch yet, despite he said he would speak to me yesterday.  However, I am hugely grateful to be living in such a beautiful place.

I am thinking that there is no reason why the house martins can't rebuild the broken part of the nest, as they built it in the first place, so I will check it out and report back.

Have a good evening all.

Nothing much to report, landlord gas inspection Tuesday so cleaning the kitchen and moving stuff to minimise what he might touch.

Made Bokkembap for dinner then read a bit more Famous Five with the wee one.  After her bedtime managed a bit more of writing up the tree and researched companies that would bind it for me once I've finished.

My dream on 28th March,  I had dreamt about my brother in law dying, I relayed this to a friend and my husband within half an hour the phone rang, my lovely brother in law had indeed died early morning, I cannot get to grips with that to be honest but I have to live with it and get over it, I hope  never have a similar dream ever again, it was so vivid I was there with him

That is so sad, to lose someone you cared about.  Maybe to feel you were there with him may have softened the blow slightly.
I am sorry for your loss Louisa Maud.

Thank you, I did write about it before but it is , I am told,  quite common, frightening though I must say
He had been a stroke victim for 18 years, now his wife won't have to worry anymore that she might die before him, he is at peace

How shocking for you Louisa Maud, It's not surprising that you've found it difficult to get to grips with it. I think the current situation makes it even more difficult for people to deal with their grief. I hope the shock eases for you soon.

Thank you Roobarb, we do have to carry on and support his family,  difficult for everyone right now but so many people are in the same predicament

Made Bokkembap for dinner

For us Sassenachs, what on earth is that PharmaT?  ???  I'm assuming it's a Scottish dish, could be Dutch or anything else I suppose  ???
