I am sure this is an easy one. Please could the cause of death be explained:

Cerebral Thrombosis 9 days.

What does the 9 days bit mean, please?

They had a stroke 9 days ago, and possibly subsequent ones, but the onset of symptoms was 9 days ago, and then they died.
