Found 1871 census, but didn't fully record the address
« on: Tuesday 30 June 20 12:53 BST (UK) »
I have been wading through loads of census info I found years ago, trying to file correctly and tidy up, but have discovered I have no exact street address for one of my 1871 census sheets.  I downloaded the image in 2016 and   the reference at the side is RG10/3793.  The page  relates to a family in North Toxteth, Liverpool, father John Doran, mother Grace, living in Holy Trinity Ecclesiastical Parish. They live in 4 Court, but I have not recorded anything else. Just carelessness I'm afraid.  Can some kind person find them, please and tell me which street this Court belongs to ? I found the name Grace rare in Liverpool, so using that in a search  may be the quickest way to locate the page I'm interested in.

I would be really grateful to anyone who can supply the missing street name. ???

Oh, you're a life saver !  I've been screaming with frustration over that for half of yesterday. I'm pathetically grateful as I'm trying to clear up and record a load of stuff before we have builders in the house.  That's my Doran file finally completed with everything recorded at last. Thank you so much. :D

I can't find Britten st on modern map, only Britten Close which is some distance from Ashwell street.
From enumerators walk it should be between Brindley Street and Ashwell street. Brindley street still exists and it looks as if Ashwell street has been cut off but would have gone closer to Brindley street

earlier map - need to scroll around a bit

1900 map shows a Brewery and other industry in Britten street so guess the courts had been demolished by then
