Is anyone else researching this family ? I'm also interested in Susan James' grandmother,  Susan Darke Bevan who lives with them in 1851 ( 80 years old) census and probably dies between 1851 and 1861 census. Is there a burial list for those years ? Thanks Nancy

Thanks Rosie ! Yes Ive seen that would that be how a death in Ystradgynlais would be reported?

That is the information you would need to get a death certificate from the GRO.  I cannot see burials for that parish online for Susan

it's from FindmyPast which has images of the registers. Susan's burial isn't in the index, but if you look for Elizabeth Jeffreys born 1805, the entry is on the same page of the register. The writing is a bit scrawly.
