Bertha Olive Nouch

 I am looking for information on this lady.
 We believe she married a Thomas Alfred Wood b 7th Jan 1920. He was the son of Harold (Harry) Charles Sidney Wood and Patience. That marriage would probably have been during the WW2 period.
I have not been able to find any birth or marriage record with her name.

Can I ask where you accuired that name please - quite a few Bertha Noch - one in particular in Minnesota USA 1940 census aged 30 - I wonder if she came to England after 1940 ??

Anything is possible with family history isn't it 

I can find quite a few Nouch births but not one for Bertha.  I don't know if the marriage certificate may reveal more information.

I couldn't find any Nouch/Wood marriages on free bmd between 1900 and 1945.

Bertha Olive Excell born 14 August 1923 died in Wakefield 3 December 2014.

Added: She seems to have been a daughter of John Benjamin Wood and Agnes Catherine (née Bruce), of Camden Town.
