I have relatives who came by ship in 1840 all from Larne, Derry, Ireland. Is this now in Northern Ireland and what is the connection to Antrim?

Larne is a town & civil parish in County Antrim, Ireland (now Northern Ireland).

Derry/Londonderry the name of both a city & county also now in Northern Ireland.

This is the civil parish of Glenarm Upper which takes in the majority of the present day town of Larne.
It is south of the village of Glenarm.
