Plenty of blanks filled in now!  I had always thought Florence was a widow which is how she is shown on some city directories and other records.  To find out she was divorced was a surprise, but she no doubt passed herself off as a widow at times to avoid the stigma of divorce which was common in those days.

She was a bit of a fibber as the newspaper record of her marriage states she was 43 when she was in fact 54!!!

Those were two of the most common things, women claiming they were widowed and the age variations.  She must have had a young face  :)
