Yes, no luck there
I have tried Family Search, Ancestry and Find My Past
It's strange how there is not many Devon records, unless I am looking in the wrong place

Is it just "Leigh" or (a) "Westleigh" (b) "Northleigh"?

Westleigh, that’s the birthplace according to the census.
Initially I thought westleigh was Leigh parish but apparently not.

I haven’t found these parishes on Findmypast
It’s all really odd, because I can’t find civil births either

Eg Louisa Hawkins born c1846 Barnstaple. Father Matthew Hawkins. mother Mary Ann
