She could have found an earlier or later departure check of original says NOB not onboard .I saw that for some  ancestors.

Did she lie about her age when coming to Canada the first time? Did she have to be 21+ to work for Mrs P.?  She was the youngest of the 5 ladies.
Just questions, trying to make it all fit. All the other manifests say she was born 1886.

ancestry.com transcribes the lady's name as Kirby, not Purdy. They might be right.

 I  found most of the entries for her have the wrong age. her father went to Canada with his second wife and lived there for many years

Just realised the Birth index has her born Dec qtr 1886,  so parish register entry is wrong.

I have all the census records for Minnie and her father while in England, plus  records for Canada.

 Minnie was second daughter  named as such, the first one died

Right, I don't think the lady that died in Detroit is her.
I'm in the middle of something else now, but a tree at ancestry says Minnie married John Little in Renfrew, Ontario, on 19 December 1914
the source is the marriage license. it says she was 25, born in Liverpool, Anglican, parents: John R Rosier and Alice Hinkle (?)

The tree says she later married Isaiah Zyvitski (no place or date or source)

She is said to have died in 1960 in Canada, probably Ottawa, but no time to look now.
