Almhouses at Stockwith

Hi I have an Ann Farr who lived in the almshouses at Stockwith West, No, 8 I have been told that these almhouses were attached to the chapel but are not there anymore. Is there any pics of the almshouses before they were demolished please.

Also I believe that both Ann & her husband John may be buried there wld be grateful if any one cld do a look up in memorial inscriptions please.

What timescale is involved?  No dates of death given

She was on the 1881 Census living at  No. 8 Almhouses. She she died in 1886 and buried at Misterton. Her husband John died in 1871.

This map confirms the almshouses were located near St Mary's Church, West Stockwith (top left hand corner).

Thanks at least I know now where they are. All I need now is to find an old pic of church and street hoping they are on them.

The almhouses, according to this, were attached to the back of St Mary's Chapel.

That's interesting John was a rope maker neither a carpenter or seafarer. Must have needed to fill up spaces.
