Unable to see a Bt for the marriage of William Sharp and Mary Lysle but there are transcriptions on Family Search ( Marriage Newcastle St Andrew 5 Nov 1837)

Another transcription has the further detail of Mary being a minor.

Clearly there are a lot of discrepancies with years of birth / places of birth. I think the marriage cert. of John Cain and Mary Ann is the only way to go now.

Marriage Locator indicates 1937 marriage was at St Andrew Roman Catholic Church.
