Oh mowsehowse, that is awful that you had a heart attack at that same time too. Catching up with an earlier post from you I am glad you survived and are able to join us all on here. I agree with Louisa Maud that you are good at helping us RootsChatters along on these dreary days. To wonder why you were spared sounds like you have a touch of what some call 'survivor's guilt'. I think that, relating to situations like this, it is natural though to want to find a rhyme and reason for things. I felt the same a couple of years ago when I had a recall after a mammogram and had to go to the RVI for a biopsy. Everything turned out alright for me and what I had turned out to be nothing of concern. However, when my much older, now deceased sister (there had been a 22 year gap between us) experienced the same thing it had turned out the worse case scenario and she had to have radical treatment to put things right. I did wonder at my time and occasionally still do, why was I so fortunate and my sister hadn't been. I know this is something I will never know the answer to.
