Well I can beat that, I ordered a PDF birth for 1869 yesterday at 13.45 and I had a email today at 15.14 to tell me it is ready so that's just over 25  hours.

But I ordered mine on a Sunday afternoon, so wouldn't start being processed till Monday morning (say 9.00 am), so in terms of Working hours, I may just have nosed ahead  ;D

I’ll share it with you, Lizzie - either way just over 24 hours is pretty impressive. Estimated despatch for me was Friday, so it was 3 days early.

Ordered a death certificate mid afternoon 5 October 2020, despatched by GRO on 9 October received by me 10 October. Not bad for electronic order and snail mail delivery.

I haven't had any problems, PDFs delivered within a couple of days and even received a marriage certificate less than a week after I ordered it and that included New Years Day.
