I need to continue with all the usual measures (like everyone else) to avoid a risk of reinfection.
I have suffered rash, welt imflammations, itching and stinging for many months, after an awful dry cough in January. I've had big fluctuations in blood pressure readings and other new health problems and other unusual reactions.
The only relief now from the itching pain is to take my socks and trousers off and pour cups of cold tap water over over the bath and put my arms and wrists under a running cold water tap to stop me scratching my skin away.
The body is drawing fluids there as though it thinks it is a burn leaving me very thirsty. After a while the spots and rash breaks, shed fluid and almost disappears. Then a few days or a week or so later, the rash, spots and/or inflammation reappears.
Fortunately, I wasn't a highly medicated person, but steroid cream is becoming less effective. Cups of cold water or running arms under the tap, is the best pain control.
I'm going back to my GP.
Despite this, I'm thankful to be alive!
