Emma Pottle please.

Birth according to the 1881 Wales Census, 1901 Wales Census in addition to the English and Wales Death Index 1754-1921 is

1 May 1833 in Hawes, Lymington, Hampshire, England

Her marriage was on 2 August 1853 in St Giles without Cripplegate to

Davis Thomas John

There is a 25 year old Elizabeth Pottle in Lymington 1841 Census

Reference number for 1841 census HO107 Piece 393 Folio 106 Page 12

If that is Emma's mother where is Emma Pottle born c 1833 in 1841 

I wonder if this might be Elizabeth's baptism from Hampshire baptisms transcription only

Emma's father is given as John Pottle, Lawyer, when she married which is clearly a fabrication.

However, the witnesses are Joseph Monk and Elizabeth Monk (her mark)

So, as posted by trish1120, her mother was Elizabeth Monk (nee Pottle) which was confirmed by Emma's baptism.

Cannot find a marriage between Elizabeth and Joseph Monk though.

Her husband David must have died before 1911

1901 census David John age was 71 born c 1830 Dyffryn - this might be a possible death entry
