A definite challenge!
« on: Tuesday 07 July 20 16:28 BST (UK) »
Recently translated a Will and am now looking for a couple mentioned in the Will of John NEWINGTON.

John's Will was published 27 May 1764 and in there he mentioned his niece Elizabeth PLAYSTED wife of John PLAYSTED.  Unfortunately to date I don't have John in my tree however I know he is related but where he fits is still to be determined.  So I thought if I can locate John PLAYSTED and I am assuming Elizabeth NEWINGTON.

John's Will was proved 15 Jun 1779.  He lived in Ticehurst and was a Mercer.  I don't have an age so cannot yet determine a possible birthdate and these short comings are a challenge however I've often been very impressed by RootsChatters so decided to post with fingers crossed.

If Elizabeth's mam was John's sister then Elizabeth wouldn't necessarily be a Newington.
