Hope someone can help here. I'm looking for a marriage between a William Scudder (or Scuder) and a woman named Elizabeth in the Rainham area pre 1663.

As far as I know they had three children all christened in Rainham.

Mary chr October 1663

Alis chr July 1668

Sarah chr September 1667

However there may be others.

Any ideas or suggestions would be appreciated.

According to the Kent OPC the marriages records for St Margaret's, Rainham between 1656 and 1662 are missing.

YKS - QUIRK, McGUIRE, BENN
Nott/Derbs - SLACK
Herts - BARNES
L'pool- PLUMBE

Thx. That might explain why I haven't been able to find a marriage. Does that apply to both the PR and BT do you know?

The other possibility is that they were married elsewhere of course.
