These are my mothers grandparents, from Colnbrook, Slough, where my mother was born. Please can anyone help us find out more info, if there is anyone on here who may be related too or know anymore about them, as a lot of my mothers family, relatives during Second World War are deceased. We found out a few days ago, another baby was born 1939 and died in 1940 by the name of Angus Byne. Agnes E J Byne was the youngest odpf my mothers siblings, she was born 1938 and died in 1939. It’s come as a real surprise and shock as no one ever mentioned another baby other than Agnes. John Frederick Byne and Cora Harriet Billings were my mothers parents.

Please bear in mind we cannot discuss possibly living people on Rootschat, looking at births and deaths there does nt seem to be an Angus with mmn Billings, could Angus/Agnes be the same and names muddled?

Search for Cora Billings too and you will find her birth in Canada, the date of which tallies with the 1939 England Register.

Hi, we’re really after any info on Henry Byne and Elizabeth Haynes. We already know about Cora Harriet Billings (my Mum’s side of the family). Yes it’s possible there is an error, as we both thought, that Ancestry.com have got Agnes and Angus mixed up, though they both appear with different birth/death years. If anyone can help with any background info on Henry and Elizabeth my Mum and I would be very grateful. Thank you.

He is on the 1911 census with his parents Henry and Elizabeth and three older brothers.  They were living at Mill Lane Colnbrook Buckinghamshire, Langley Marish, Buckinghamshire, England
